Security Compliance Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Remote; Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Bogota, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Europe, Lima, and Montevideo

What you will do

• Participate in ISO 27001/27701, ISO 42001, SOC 2, and PCI DSS audits from a technical implementation perspective.
• Translate security, compliance, and privacy requirements into scalable, measurable, and auditable technical controls.
• Develop and maintain internal security tooling using Python.
• Collaborate with Engineering and DevOps to implement and validate cloud security controls in AWS and GCP.

Requirements

• Practical experience with ISO audits and translating controls into technical implementations.
• Experience in fintech, payments, or highly regulated environments.
• Knowledge of SOC 2 or PCI DSS from an engineering perspective and understanding of privacy requirements.
• Working knowledge of Python for building and maintaining simple tooling.
• Knowledge of AWS and/or GCP security services, including WAF, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and monitoring.
• Fluent English and strong collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Kubernetes or container security.
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Vendor risk management and third-party security review experience.
• Familiarity with serverless, event-driven, or AI-integrated architectures.
