TL;DR
Senior Security Analyst (Fintech): Monitoring security events and responding to incidents across cloud infrastructure and applications with an accent on digital forensics, AWS security, and SOC operations. Focus on tuning detection rules, investigating attacker behavior, integrating security controls into CI/CD and container workloads, and protecting financial infrastructure.
Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina; hybrid work with at least one day per week in the Buenos Aires office

What you will do
- Monitor security events and alerts across infrastructure and applications, triaging and escalating incidents.
- Lead incident response from detection and containment through root cause analysis, remediation, and post-mortem documentation.
- Perform digital forensics on systems, logs, and artifacts to determine attacker behavior, compromise scope, and entry vectors.
- Improve SOC operations by tuning detection rules, reducing false positives, and building operational runbooks.
- Assess AWS security posture, including misconfigurations, excessive permissions, and exposure risks.
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines, container workloads, and infrastructure-as-code while supporting audits and vulnerability management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms, log analysis, and the incident response lifecycle.
- Experience with digital forensics in Linux and/or cloud-native environments.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Experience with AWS security services such as CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM, and VPCs.
- Scripting ability in Python, Bash, or a similar language, plus the ability to communicate security risks to technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, crypto, or regulated financial environments.
- Experience with container and Kubernetes security.
- Knowledge of blockchain security patterns or crypto custody risks.
