Software Engineer (Backend): Building new services using Golang to meet critical business needs for hirify.global's customer agent interactions system, with an accent on security, compliance, and cost improvements. Focus on supporting team members in design techniques and best practices across multiple technical domains to efficiently deliver improvements.

Location: In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually to foster collaboration, connection, and alignment. Attendance is expected and fully supported.

Salary: R$359.200—R$359.200 BRL

What you will do

• Build new services using Golang to meet critical business needs.
• Support team members in design techniques and coding best practices.
• Collaborate with engineers, security, designers, and product managers to turn product vision into a tangible roadmap.
• Demonstrate awareness of hirify.global’s platform and development practices to deliver improvements across multiple teams.
• Communicate across the company to technical and non-technical leaders.
• Participate in on-call production support rotations.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in software engineering, focused on web application development and user-facing features.
• Experience building, scaling, and maintaining production services in a service-oriented architecture.
• Experience writing high-quality, well-tested code.
• Experience with large-scale, high-traffic platforms and implementing scalable services.
• Experience contributing to technical architecture.
• Knowledge of rate limiters, caching, metrics, logging, and debugging.

Nice to have

• Ruby, Python.
• SaaS platform experience.
• AI/ML experience.
• Experience using OpenAI/ChatGPT or similar applications.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions.
