Software Engineer (AI)

TL;DR

Software Engineer (AI): Contributing to the development of robust, distributed services for the hirify.global Shopping team with an accent on personalization, savings, and convenience. Focus on enhancing platform scalability, data modeling, and workflow automation using AI, LLMs, and LLM-based Agents.

Location: Expected to work from the office at least four days per week if living within a 50-mile commute of a designated hirify.global office in the U.S.

What you will do

• Work with stakeholders to determine user requirements for features.
• Support identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for product features.
• Create and implement code for products, services, or features, reusing code as applicable.
• Assist in breaking down work items into tasks and providing estimations.
• Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) in monitoring system/product features/services for degradation, downtime, or interruptions.
• Seek new knowledge to improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline with experience coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
• Ability to meet hirify.global, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the hirify.global Cloud Background Check.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
• Experience in designing, building, and operating large-scale resilient distributed systems.
