Location: Hybrid in San Mateo, CA, United States (onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday).

Salary: $242,100–$293,800 USD Annual

What you will do

• Work on the hirify.global Asset Manager & Asset Access Control system.
• Design, build, test, and deploy services within the hirify.global ecosystem with end-to-end responsibility.
• Guide the future technical direction of the team and impact engineering decisions.
• Be a technical bar-raiser for high code quality and architectural designs.
• Mentor and develop fellow engineers on the team.
• Design scalable and resilient systems and services.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience working on backend, distributed systems that are scalable and reliable.
• Experience in architecting, designing, and leading implementation of mission-critical applications at scale.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (C#, Go, Java, C++, Python or similar).
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Computer Science or related engineering field.
• Creative and strategic approach to solving hard problems.
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate effectively.

Nice to have

• Master's degree is a plus.
• Experience with Web Technologies (React, Typescript, Javascript) is a plus.
