Senior Product Manager, Web Platform (AI)

Location: Hybrid, in-person in Redmond, WA or an approved Microsoft satellite campus in the U.S. (expected to work from office at least four days per week if within 50-mile commute).

Salary: USD $119,800 – $234,700 per year (typical U.S. range); USD $158,400 – $258,000 per year (San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area).

What you will do

• Drive business impact and track success criteria for web platform features and strategic initiatives.
• Define platform features and requirements for internal and external partners, facilitating API design and experimentation.
• Own the roadmap for multiple feature areas and collaborate with partner teams on golden configurations.
• Support Product Marketing teams by building marketing, roll-out, and customer support plans and presenting at events.
• Collect performance metrics, form hypotheses for technical needs, and manage customer communities to build trust.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development.
• Professional experience working on web browsers, web standards, or building developer-facing products (tools, platforms).
• Experience using artificial intelligence tools for web development (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).
• Experience with developer relations and/or advocacy (evangelizing tools/frameworks, presenting at conferences, gathering requirements).
• Professional experience with web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
