Location: Hybrid, based 3 days a week out of our office in Dublin, Ireland

What you will do

• Design and evolve highly scalable Java backend services that handle massive traffic and data volumes.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to build new applications and features impacting support agents' efficiency and customer success.
• Lead projects from discovery to deployment, ensuring fast, secure, and resilient systems.
• Contribute to technical strategy, participate in code reviews, and help maintain the overall health and modernity of the tech stack.
• Work closely with your hybrid team in Dublin to foster a culture of mentorship and rapid iteration.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience building robust Java backend systems (or similar JVM languages).
• Track record of working on large-scale production software, understanding distributed systems, and solving high-volume production challenges.
• Comfortable with complex API integrations and designing clean, maintainable interfaces.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts to cross-functional partners.
• Must be based 3 days a week out of our office in Dublin, Ireland.
