What you will do

• Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering their professional growth.
• Collaborate with Product to define the strategic roadmap and impact product and user experience.
• Engage with complex technical problems and guide the team in creating actionable plans.
• Contribute to and review code, lead design decisions, and participate in on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Proven leadership ability to manage team dynamics, set goals, and provide feedback.
• Experience building distributed systems and operating infrastructure with a focus on reliability and fault tolerance.
• Product-mindset with comfort working with product managers and customers on roadmaps.
• Experience in a fullstack environment with Go and TypeScript.
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience doing new product development.
• Kubernetes and infrastructure autoscaling experience is preferred.
