What you will do
- Implement backend solutions for AEM (Cloud Service) and EDS using Sling Models, OSGi services, and content APIs.
- Model content with Content Fragment Models and expose structured content via GraphQL for omnichannel consumption.
- Define caching strategies using Dispatcher/CDN for EDS and classic AEM delivery.
- Develop REST/GraphQL endpoints and integrate Adobe IMS, I/O Runtime, and other marketing tech APIs.
- Own CI/CD pipelines for AEM Cloud Service, including code quality, automated tests, and deployment.
- Mentor developers, refine backlog, and collaborate with architects, product owners, and QA.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years of software engineering experience, with 6+ years in AEM and 4+ years in AEM Cloud Service/Edge Delivery Services.
- Strong proficiency in Java 11+/17, Sling, OSGi, JCR, Oak, AEM Core Components, Content Fragments, and GraphQL.
- Experience with Universal Editor authoring models and EDS delivery workflows.
- Expertise in API design (REST/GraphQL), integration patterns, and event-driven architectures.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, cloud logging/monitoring, and CDN tuning.
- Knowledge of security best practices including OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, secrets management, and SSO/SAML/Adobe IMS.
Nice to have
- Adobe Cloud Manager pipeline tuning or Adobe I/O Runtime.
- Headless/omnichannel delivery experience.
- Experience with GraphQL federation or API gateways.
