Sales Data Analyst (Data Visualization)

TL;DR

Sales Data Analyst (Data Analytics): Assisting in the design, implementation, and distribution of sales reports and conducting Exploratory Data Analysis by integrating sales, finance, and marketing data with an accent on developing and optimizing KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, and reports. Focus on identifying key business challenges, visualizing results, and effective data consolidation from multiple sources.

Location: Onsite in Santa Monica, California, United States. This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.

Salary: $72,000–$108,000 + cash incentives.

What you will do

• Review and analyze internal data requirements and evaluate current Sales, Finance, and Operations data.
• Perform data cleansing, structuring, and distribute all sales reports regularly and ad hoc.
• Consolidate data from multiple sources, establish data connections, and identify modeling requirements.
• Document procedures, analyze data, interpret findings, and develop presentations for guidance and insights.
• Develop effective business models and visually compelling, user-friendly dashboards using BI tools and UX/UI principles.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a data visualization role with a strong understanding of UX/UI design principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (complex functions), relational databases, and SQL.
• Familiar with business operation software such as SAP and SAP BI.
• Possess fundamental knowledge of statistical measures and techniques.
• Experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Fluent in English.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or valid visa holders).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with statistical software like SAS and R.
• Additional language proficiency.
