TL;DR

Senior Project Manager (IT): Managing complex IT projects for customers within the CBDC ecosystem, including backend applications, apps, wallets, and smart cards with an accent on ensuring customer objectives are met within the planned project scope. Focus on project risk anticipation and control in a rapidly changing international environment.

Location: The position can be located in our G+D offices in Munich or in Barcelona. Willingness and flexibility to travel to customers on a regular basis is required.

What you will do

• Independently manage complex customer projects within our CBDC ecosystem, ensuring customer objectives are met within the planned project scope.
• Control projects and manage the project team over the entire project cycle, from requirements analysis to implementation.
• Anticipate and control project risks in a rapidly changing environment.
• Cooperate with internal and external stakeholders on different hierarchical levels in an international environment.
• Ensure subcontractors (if part of the project) are well-managed in terms of scope, quality, and timelines.
• Process tenders together with our sales department and the technical contact person.

Requirements

• Proven years of experience in managing complex IT projects for customers.
• Demonstrate resilience and decisive leadership under pressure, maintaining strategic focus and guiding projects through complex challenges to successful outcomes.
• Communicate convincingly in English with internal teams and with our contact persons at the customer at all hierarchical levels.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to understand new, complex topics quickly and steer projects to success.
• Experience with projects in the area of payment or with solutions that place high demands on IT security would be an advantage.
• Experience with Economics or Central Banks would be an advantage.
