TL;DR

What you will do

• Configure Cobbler, Ansible, and Jenkins to automate OS and software deployment to the infrastructure.
• Collaborate with software developers to secure applications and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot application issues using the Linux terminal/AWS Console, monitoring tools, and logs.
• Define infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation and Ansible.
• Take responsibility for the upgrade, backup, monitoring, and disaster recovery processes for systems.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in securely operating and troubleshooting Linux systems, ideally Rocky/Red Hat, including troubleshooting in the Linux terminal.
• Hands-on experience deploying open-source/proprietary web applications on a Linux platform using Cobbler, Jenkins, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with on-premises hardware servers, including installation, configuration, firmware patching, and remote management.
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies, e.g., CloudFormation, CloudWatch, S3, SQS, Lambda, and EC2.
• Good understanding of key network technologies, including TCP/IP, QoS, VLANs, Multicast.

Nice to have

• Experience in at least one scripting language, e.g., Python, Groovy, bash.
• Experience using software control systems, e.g., Git.
• Experience working with databases, e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, and OpenSearch.
• Experience with Video Streaming technologies, e.g., Multicast, SRT, HLS.
• Some experience working with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies.
