Cloud DevOps Engineer

Cloud DevOps Engineer: Driving the definition, building, deployment, and operations of hirify.global applications in close collaboration with Dev, QA, and Ops peers with an accent on CI/CD pipeline creation and evolution for on-prem and cloud systems. Focus on transitioning legacy processes to automation, designing reliable continuous deployment solutions, and enforcing security policies within a 24x7x365 global SaaS/PaaS environment.

Location: Onsite in Madrid or Seville, Spain.

What you will do

• Lead the definition, building, deployment, and operations of hirify.global applications.
• Drive the creation and evolution of CI/CD pipelines for Omnitracs on-prem and AWS footprints.
• Develop strategies for higher organizational throughput via automation and flexible processes.
• Design and create reliable continuous deployment solutions for increased availability and uptime.
• Manage operational costs and optimize resource utilization across on-prem and cloud services.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Omnitracs environments.
• Participate in on-call rotations for a 24x7x365 organization.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. Degree in Computer Science/Computer Information Science or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience driving CI/CD for systems deployed to cloud providers (AWS proficiency highly desirable).
• 2+ years of experience in a 24x7x365 global SaaS/PaaS operation.
• 2+ years of experience with virtualization and Docker containers.
• Proficiency with scripting languages (PowerShell, batch, bash, Python, or equivalent).
• Demonstrated proficiency in CI/CD and Infrastructure stacks (Octopus Deploy, Jenkins, Terraform, Windows Server, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Grafana, Git/Bitbucket).
