What you will do
- Lead and improve build/release pipelines and GitOps workflows within the FedRAMP boundary.
- Provide daily leadership, mentoring, and performance management to DevOps engineers.
- Architect and operate Azure Government Cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Manage AKS clusters with Istio, secure networking, and Zero Trust security controls.
- Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams on POA&M work and annual assessments.
- Support production environments, manage incident response, and maintain system observability.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
- Must be located in Phoenix, Dallas, Hoboken, or Washington D.C.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE with 2+ years of engineering leadership.
- Demonstrable experience working in FedRAMP Moderate or High environments.
- Strong understanding of NIST 800-53 and federal security controls.
- Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Nice to have
- Experience with Zero Trust architecture, PIM, and RBAC.
- Proficiency in scripting or automation with Python, Go, or Bash.
- Familiarity with Kafka, microservices, and distributed systems architecture.
- Experience with Azure API Management and Cosmos DB performance tuning.
