What you will do

• Architect and maintain robust DevOps build and testing systems using GitLab with advanced caching and parallelization
• Develop comprehensive testing matrices including unit, functional, end-to-end, performance, and load tests in federal cloud environments
• Design automated test pipelines to reduce manual tasks within secure CI/CD workflows
• Deploy and secure workloads in AWS GovCloud and support DoD Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes
• Implement multi-target deployment and environment promotion workflows for reliable software releases
• Apply Site Reliability Engineering practices to ensure system availability and compliance enforcement
• Collaborate with developers and QA, mentoring junior and mid-level engineers
• Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and scalability

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher
• 8+ years software development experience, 4-6 years in advanced DevOps build structures
• Experience with AWS GovCloud and federal/DoD cloud environments
• Proficiency with GitLab, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Python, and Bash scripting
• Strong knowledge of security controls, IAM, RBAC, and secure networking
• Ability to work onsite 2-3 days per week in Washington, D.C. or Reston, VA
