Staff Backend Engineer (Web3): Building business-critical backend systems that power high-throughput, real-time crypto trading with an accent on low-latency trading infrastructure, wallet and execution systems, and AI-driven intelligence layers. Focus on correctness, resilience, and speed in frontier-level engineering.
Location: Remote (US preferred). Strong preference for Austin, TX (office planned). Exceptional candidates in Europe will be considered.

What you will do
- Design and build low-latency trading infrastructure.
- Develop wallet and execution systems that perform under extreme volatility.
- Work on AI-driven intelligence layers that continuously improve outcomes.

- Use AI tooling aggressively as a force multiplier across development and architecture.
Requirements
- Staff-level engineer capable of owning large, complex systems.
- Proven ability to lead work end-to-end: problem definition → architecture → production.
- Comfortable making high-impact technical decisions in ambiguous environments.
- Crypto-Native Experience (Essential): Direct experience building or operating crypto wallets, trading platforms, or execution systems.
- Deep understanding of real-world market behavior, volatility, and scale.
- Strong production experience with Golang, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, performance, and reliability.
- Actively uses AI tools in development and iteration (must-have).
