TL;DR

Senior Game Engineer (Gamedev): Contributing to game development services, porting games from various engines like Unreal, Unity, and Godot to mobile, Playstation, Xbox, and Switch. Focus on networking, optimization, and improving coding skills, while also mentoring junior colleagues and finding solutions for project needs.

Location: Onsite in Stockholm, Skövde, or Örebro, Sweden

hirify.global is a co-development company with offices in Skövde and Örebro, expanding to Stockholm to build a new team.

What you will do

Drive work on client's projects in independent teams, tackling challenges that arise.
Mentor junior colleagues and inspire solutions with senior peers.
Improve coding skills and find the best solutions for project needs.
Try out new technologies and expand knowledge.
Work on game porting.

Requirements

At least 7-12 years of professional experience in game development.
Excellent coding skills.

Nice to have

Experience with custom engines.
Experience developing console games.
Portfolio of previous shipped game titles.
Experience with game porting.
Other software experience.
