Social Account Director (Paid Social): Overseeing and executing Paid Social strategies for global campaigns, managing client relationships, and leading junior team members with an accent on strategic planning, campaign optimization across multiple social channels, and financial accuracy. Focus on driving breakthroughs for top brands, fostering strong client and vendor partnerships, and continuous team development.

Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid approach, with teams in the office around four days a week. This is a UK based role and requires individuals to have the right to work in this location.

What you will do

  • Create and execute Paid Social strategies for client portfolios, ensuring best practices and account evolution.
  • Manage client relationships, acting as a representative for the Paid Social department and EssenceMediaCom.
  • Oversee planning, optimization, uploading, reporting, and campaign management across all social media channels (Facebook, X, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr).
  • Ensure robust operational processes, financial accuracy in media bookings and invoices, and appropriate tool usage.
  • Manage, motivate, and train junior team members, supporting their development and managing workloads.
  • Support new business by responding to RFIs/RFPs and participating in pitches.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in paid social, ideally for a blend of direct response & brand client base.
  • Experience in delivering paid social strategy and operations, managing individuals, and fostering strong client relationships.
  • Advanced understanding of Paid Social principles and passion for social media, content & creative best practices.
  • Moderate experience in optimizing digital media across channels including Google Display Network, Google AdWords, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Excellent project management, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent written & verbal English language skills/grammar (C1).
  • Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
