What you will do

• Own and drive hirify.global’s overall business performance in Canada, including user growth and revenue.
• Define and execute the country strategy based on market, regulatory, and competitive analysis.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to launch locally-relevant products, ensuring product-market fit.
• Lead cross-functional execution with Marketing, Business Development, Legal, Compliance, and Policy.
• Play a senior leadership role in regulatory and policy engagement in Canada.
• Build, hire, and develop a high-performing local team.

Requirements

• Senior leadership experience (CEO, COO, GM, Founder, or equivalent) leading and scaling a tech or fintech business in Canada.
• Deep understanding of the Canadian regulated financial services ecosystem.
• Proven track record partnering with Product, Marketing, and Business Development to scale products in regulated environments.
• Direct experience engaging with regulators and policy stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of regulated financial institutions operations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Previous experience working in a multinational / US-headquartered business.
• Experience with retail-oriented payments, trading, or brokerage platforms.
• Previous work experience or personal interest in crypto/blockchain space.
