TL;DR

Software Engineer (Ecosystem): Building and optimizing scalable, reliable, and performant systems for hirify.global's ecosystem platform with an accent on API extensibility and secure third-party app integration. Focus on end-to-end feature ownership, from development to deployment, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Location: Hybrid work model, requiring 3 days in office per week, in the San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, New York, Austin (USA), Tokyo (Japan), Bangalore, Hyderabad (India), or London (UK).

Salary: $140,000–$180,000

What you will do

  • Build scalable, reliable, and performant systems that cater to the needs of thousands of ecosystem developers and millions of users.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and build ecosystem capabilities.
  • Create and review technical specifications and provide feedback to developers.
  • Take end-to-end responsibility for features from development to deployments, ensuring a high quality bar.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience working on Java, Node.js, React.js or similar technologies.
  • 4+ years of experience building backend or fullstack services.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience building scalable distributed systems.
  • Keen focus on quality and velocity, with the ability to be self-driven.
