What you will do

• Build, extend, troubleshoot, and fix complex heterogeneous Go applications and microservices.
• Improve the execution engine of custom third-party code, focusing on isolation, performance, and new features.
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code in Go.
• Integrate data storage solutions like Postgres, S3, DynamoDB, Kafka, and ClickHouse.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle and provide code reviews.
• Evaluate existing systems, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements.

Requirements

• Strong experience (7+ years) in building scalable distributed backend applications.
• Great understanding of large web application building blocks: databases, load balancers, application servers, message brokers, caching, monitoring.
• Good understanding of network protocols, stacks, and DB technologies (classic and NoSQL).
• Knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms.
• Excellent debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and social skills.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
• Readiness to work remotely with teams distributed across the world and timezones.

Nice to have

• Experience in related fields (DevOps, ML, DBA, Enterprise applications).
