Location: Partially remote from Canada (Toronto, Calgary, Ottawa)

What you will do

• Engage with clients to understand business challenges, technology landscapes, and transformation objectives.
• Lead discovery and assessment workshops to define cloud strategy and modernization roadmaps.
• Design and document scalable, secure, and cost-optimized Azure architectures across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
• Define target cloud architectures, landing zones, integration patterns, and governance models.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight during project delivery, ensuring design and compliance.
• Contribute to business development activities including proposals, estimations, and client presentations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in Azure cloud architecture and consulting roles.
• Proven experience within a consulting, systems integrator, or professional services environment.
• Expertise in cloud architecture design, modernization, and migration of enterprise applications to Azure.
• Deep knowledge across Azure services: Compute, Data & Storage, Networking, Security & Governance, Automation & DevOps.
• Familiarity with FinOps, cost optimization, and TCO analysis.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft ecosystem integration (M365, Power Platform, Dynamics 365).
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (mandatory or in-progress).
• Strong consulting acumen, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• TOGAF, ITIL, or similar architecture/governance certifications.
