What you will do

• Design, build and extend backend systems using TypeScript and modern serverless patterns.
• Develop and maintain APIs and integrations that power customer-facing and internal platforms.
• Work with database schemas, authentication, and backend services to support scalable data pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with frontend engineers to deliver end-to-end features.
• Contribute to internal automation tools and operational workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ professional experience in backend or full-stack engineering.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript in production environments.
• Solid understanding of API design, database modelling and serverless architectures.
• Comfortable working across backend logic, data modelling and platform integrations.
• Experience working autonomously in remote, distributed teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Supabase or similar backend-as-a-service platforms.
• Exposure to data pipelines, analytics or AI/ML integrations.
• Familiarity with geospatial, sustainability or data-intensive systems.
