Location: Hybrid in San Francisco Bay Area, USA. Employees are expected to come into the office 3-days a week.

Salary: $270,000–$300,000

What you will do

• Set technical vision and roadmap based on business goals and product requirements.
• Provide technical leadership on architecture, balancing goals and existing system realities.
• Lead proofs of concept and measurement efforts to de-risk projects.
• Mentor other engineers within the team and across the company.
• Lead by example by contributing to product and infrastructure development.

Requirements

• Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
• Strong experience with industry standards on streaming data.
• Experience being on-call for a user-facing application.
• Proven track record of leading engineers and delivering projects.
• Track record of leading impactful projects from conception to results.
• Excellent tolerance for chaos and a good sense of humor.

Nice to have

• Experience working on a 0-to-1 product.
• Experience working on B2B product and/or developer tools.
