What you will do

• Deliver customer projects including migrations, data optimizations, and schema designs.
• Fix complex technical problems by tuning slow queries and configurations.
• Apply AI copilots (LLMs, AI assistants) to accelerate engineering tasks like query rewrites and test optimizations.
• Translate reference architectures into customer-specific deployments using hirify.global features.
• Act as the customer’s technical champion, owning technical success during project delivery.
• Capture and share knowledge by writing playbooks, scripts, and internal guides.

Requirements

• Deep hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, especially SQL tuning, performance optimization, and schema design.
• Experience delivering complex migrations, data transformations, or optimizations in production environments.
• Fluent in SQL and Python (or similar scripting languages for data work).
• Comfortable leading technical conversations with customers, especially under pressure.
• Love using AI tools (copilots, LLMs) to speed up query rewriting, code generation, or problem diagnosis.
• English: B2 required to communicate clearly and explain tradeoffs to customers.

Nice to have

• Experience in Implementation Engineering, Integration Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, or Technical Consulting.
