What you will do

• Shape the engineering vision and roadmap as part of Outplayed’s leadership team.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team spanning client, backend, frontend, and QA.
• Design, build, and maintain Outplayed’s end-to-end infrastructure and client application using solid OOP and software design principles.
• Drive reliable, high-quality delivery across features, releases, and technical initiatives.
• Own performance, stability, and reliability, setting clear testing and release processes.
• Investigate, resolve, and prevent production issues while continuously improving system health.
• Establish and uphold engineering best practices – code reviews, testing, monitoring, and documentation.

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a team lead or engineering manager.
• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong understanding of software design, OOP, and modular architectures.
• Experience building Windows client applications and modules.
• Proficiency with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Proficiency with C++ or C#.
• Passion for clean architecture, performance, and long-term maintainability.

Nice to have

• A gamer at heart (PC or console).
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular/Vue) or Electron-like desktop frameworks.
