What you will do

• Develop AI-based tooling for scenario understanding and validation in autonomous vehicle simulations.
• Create realistic simulation scenarios with dynamic and static features.
• Integrate and validate large language and vision models for complex scenario generation workflows.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide generative AI solutions for test creation.
• Contribute directly to the safety and reliability of autonomous driving software.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States (Foster City, CA hybrid work).
• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience in machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as PyTorch, JAX, and NumPy.
• Experience with transformer and diffusion architectures.
• Practical experience in dataset creation, ML model integration, or low-latency inference optimization.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with autonomous vehicles, robotics, or complex simulation environments.
• Experience in program synthesis or formal methods/verification and validation.
• Relevant publications in top conferences like CVPR, ICCV, RSS, or ICRA.
