What you will do

• Lead development of multimodal large language models for complex urban environment understanding in robotaxis
• Design model architectures and training techniques leveraging extensive sensor data and large-scale datasets
• Drive end-to-end ML solutions from research to production using hirify.global's data pipelines and infrastructure
• Collaborate with perception, planning, safety, and systems teams to integrate models into vehicle decision-making
• Validate and optimize solutions using real-world driving scenarios to enhance safety and reliability

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work in Boston, MA (hybrid)
• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field
• Experience training and deploying large language models (LLMs)
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as PyTorch and NumPy
• Experience with large-scale datasets and ML training pipelines

Nice to have

• Publications in top-tier ML and robotics conferences (CVPR, ICCV, RSS, ICRA)
• Experience with autonomous robotics systems
