Solutions Architect (Procurement): Leading technical discovery and solution design for enterprise procurement and P2P within a financial operations platform with an accent on technical implementation knowledge, architect-level solution design skills, and deep procurement domain expertise. Focus on driving technical validation, pre-sale implementation planning, and influencing product strategy for complex enterprise deals.

Location: Must be based in the U.S. and be available to travel up to 30%+ for onsite discovery workshops, executive briefings, and solution validation sessions. Relocation support to NYC or SF is available.

What you will do

• Lead technical discovery and solution design for procurement workflows and vendor management.
• Drive technical validation and pre-sale implementation plans, including API workflow validation and security modeling.
• Partner with Sales to win complex enterprise deals as the primary procurement SME.
• Influence product and GTM strategy by providing structured feedback and shaping the procurement roadmap.
• Ensure seamless handoff to onboarding by documenting requirements and partnering with implementation teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Procurement, P2P, ERP, or similar technical implementation roles.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end procurement processes and hands-on experience designing or implementing P2P solutions (Coupa, Ariba, Zip, Ivalua, Workday, NetSuite).
• Strong technical acumen with API experience required, plus familiarity with SFTP, integrations, data migration, SCIM/SAML, and ERP financial objects.
• Experience running enterprise evaluations with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex workflows into clear solutions.
• Ability to design future-state workflows and build pre-sale implementation plans.
• English: B2 required.

Nice to have

• Certifications in Coupa, Ariba, Workday, or other ERP/P2P platforms.
• SQL or scripting familiarity.
• Experience working closely with Product teams to influence roadmap.
