What you will do

• Monitor and engage with regulatory developments and policymakers in West Africa.
• Lead licensing and authorization processes for operations in the region.
• Represent the company in regulatory consultations and industry dialogues.
• Provide regulatory risk insights and support enterprise-level planning for new products and expansions.
• Coordinate responses to supervisory reviews and regulatory audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, product, compliance, and business development.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in governmental, regulatory affairs, or legal roles in financial or crypto sectors in Ghana or Nigeria.
• Proven track record engaging with regulators and securing favorable policy outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across borders and time zones.
• Strong team player with ability to work collaboratively and independently.
