What you will do

• Understand monolith-based software systems with complex business logic.
• Independently troubleshoot and resolve production and pre-production issues.
• Contribute to infrastructure changes on AWS with deep service understanding.
• Engage with multiple functional teams to coordinate database changes.
• Engage in on-call for production systems.
• Lead projects from design to rollout with 100% ownership.
• Contribute to major system upgrades, deployment automation, and monitoring enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of hands-on SQL server DBA, development, and operational experience.
• Solid understanding of SQL Server Cluster setup with DR capabilities.
• Experience with Powershell.
• Experience with AWS services and hands-on knowledge of hosting on cloud.
• Experience with any one of the programming languages: Java, C++, Python, or Ruby.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
