Support Engineer

TL;DR

Support Engineer (Customer Support): Provide Tier 1 technical support and customer service for hirify.global's endpoint management platform with an accent on troubleshooting Windows, Mac, and virtualization issues. Focus on resolving customer issues promptly, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering product training.

Location: Remote within the USA, must be located in Texas or Florida. Physical offices in Austin, TX and Clearwater, FL.

What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve critical product issues and improve future releases.
• Create and deliver product and technology training to internal and external partner teams.
• Share knowledge and create knowledge base articles for issue resolution.
• Work a set schedule including rotating on-call duties approximately one weekend every two months.
• Provide prompt and accurate follow-up to tickets and support calls.

Requirements

• Must be located in the USA, specifically Texas or Florida.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in customer service or product support.
• Fluent in Windows troubleshooting; Mac and Linux troubleshooting are a plus.
• Experience with Zendesk or other ticketing systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with virtualization platforms and basic networking knowledge.
