What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-load backend services in Ruby and Go.
• Own end-to-end delivery of backend features from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Work closely with Product and Data teams to experiment with monetization strategies and expose reliable data pipelines.
• Actively participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-mortems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, conducting code reviews.
• Reduce technical debt, continuously improve system architecture, and influence the technical roadmap.
• Take ownership of key services within the mediation platform, identifying risks and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years with Ruby on Rails in production.
• Strong understanding of Go fundamentals and experience building production services.
• Proficiency with SQL, particularly PostgreSQL (complex queries, performance optimization, indexing strategies).
• Experience with OLAP databases (Clickhouse or similar) and hands-on data pipeline development.
• Production experience with message streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and distributed systems challenges.
• Practical experience with caching strategies using Redis, Memcached, or similar.
• Understanding of database performance tuning and query optimization.
• English: B2 required.
• Work from Barcelona, Spain.
