What you will do

• Build and maintain scalable backend services for sales automation engine including lead processing and workflow orchestration via Temporal.
• Develop core systems integrating with third-party platforms such as CRMs and LinkedIn.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Frontend teams to deliver end-to-end functionality emphasizing reliability and performance.
• Design and optimize production-grade APIs and data pipelines.
• Ensure observability and performance optimization of backend services.

Requirements

• Must be Barcelona-based or willing to relocate to Barcelona, Spain
• 3+ years of backend development experience, preferably with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or relational databases and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with Temporal or similar workflow engines.
• Strong debugging, performance optimization skills, and ability to work autonomously in a startup environment.
• Advanced English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Experience in early-stage startups or fast-scaling environments.
• Knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with DDD or Hexagonal Architecture.
• Exposure to frontend frameworks like React and interest in B2B SaaS and sales tech.
• Experience working with third-party APIs at scale.
