What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement Java applications meeting business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and testers to deliver scalable and robust solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and promote continuous learning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues promptly.
• Drive continuous improvement of development processes and practices.
• Mentor and guide junior developers.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience in Java programming with strong object-oriented design and design patterns knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with Spring framework components including Spring Boot and Spring Security.
• Extensive experience with relational databases (SQL, Oracle, Postgres) and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Git, RESTful APIs, Linux/Unix environments, and scripting languages (Shell, Python).
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Ability to work hybrid in Madrid or remote within Spain.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka and ApacheMQ.
• Experience with stream processing or reactive programming.
