What you will do

• Design and build efficient backend services for large-scale data collection, processing, and storage, ensuring high scalability and low latency.
• Redesign and unify multiple inherited data pipelines, driving the transition to a streamlined data architecture.
• Work on large-scale projects involving complex systems and cutting-edge technologies, driving impactful changes.
• Develop innovative data formats and exchange mechanisms to optimize functionality while minimizing costs.
• Contribute to the continuous evolution of the primary data pipeline, addressing growing data volumes.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with strategic goals.

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years as a mid-level or senior engineer with a strong software engineering foundation.
• Hands-on experience tackling large-scale data challenges, focusing on scalability and fault-tolerant system design.
• Experience with cloud providers such as AWS and Azure, with comfort in writing infrastructure as code.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment on-site and in async globally.
• Ability to thrive in a flat team structure, actively contributing to solving technical challenges.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Go and/or Scala.
• Experience with ClickHouse and/or SingleStore.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience using Kafka.
