What you will do

  • Develop and optimize microservices for high-concurrency transactions using Go, Postgres, and Kafka.
  • Collaborate on system architecture, testing, and monitoring to ensure uptime and performance.
  • Build internal frontend tools to support operational efficiency.
  • Support risk mitigation and align with engineering, product, and compliance teams.
  • Contribute to secure, scalable financial data and transaction systems.
  • Iterate rapidly on feedback to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

  • Must have 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong backend focus.
  • Proficiency in Go or similar languages, experience with Postgres and Kafka.
  • Experience building distributed, high-scale, low-latency systems.
  • Knowledge of handling secure financial data.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Tokyo, Japan.

Nice to have

  • Experience in fintech, payments, or regulatory frameworks (PCI-DSS, AML/KYC).
  • Startup experience and working on greenfield projects.
  • Passion for leveraging AI in financial systems.
