What you will do

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to a team of software engineers.
• Foster a collaborative, innovative, and Agile work environment.
• Lead Agile ceremonies and promote Agile values and continuous process improvement.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to prioritize and deliver software features.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, adherence to standards, and best practices.
• Support client success and manage support developers including participation in on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Must be located in Canada or able to work remotely within Canadian provinces mentioned.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience focused on Java backend web applications.
• Previous leadership or mentorship experience.
• Proficiency in Java, RESTful APIs, microservices, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) and Agile methodologies.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration in a fast-paced Agile environment.
