Staff Verification Engineer (SoC)

TL;DR

Staff Verification Engineer (AI/SoC): Building and optimizing pre-silicon verification for next-generation connectivity networking products with an accent on RTL verification, UVM, C, and SystemVerilog. Focus on integrating 3rd party VIPs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful validation of high-performance SoCs for AI datacenters and other data-demanding industries.

Location: This is an onsite position in Toronto, Canada.

What you will do

• Build testbenches and analyze test failures to uncover bugs in IP.
• Integrate 3rd party VIPs for compliance testing of standard protocols.
• Build releases of designs into the SoC design integration team.
• Lead, plan, and coordinate tasks with team members.
• Collaborate closely with IP design, FE design, PD, PV, EM/IR, and post-silicon teams.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of IP verification methodologies and processes.

Requirements

• Multi-year experience in SoC Design Verification.
• Applied understanding of UVM and verification techniques, including constrained-random verification in System Verilog and UVM.
• Experience with Formal Verification and Power-aware UPF verification techniques.
• Proficiency in System Verilog, UVM, Python, Perl, and C/C++.
• Experience in post-silicon bring-up and debugging.
• English: B2 required.

Nice to have

• Experience in SerDes PHY, DSP, and Analog mixed signal.
• Knowledge in Ethernet and PCIe standards.
