System Validation Engineer (Semiconductor)

Salary: CAD 112,800 – CAD 150,400 per annum

What you will do

• Validate the analog and digital system performance of hirify.global’s multi-gigabit semiconductor devices.
• Develop, execute, and maintain validation plans and test methodologies.
• Design and implement advanced Python-based test automation frameworks and scripts.
• Perform in-depth debugging, data analysis, and performance characterization.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as a self-driven contributor.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in silicon/system validation.
• Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• Deep understanding of DSP architectures for PAM4 and coherent transmission (including DFE, FFE, CDR, FIR, FEC, and link-equalization methodologies).
• Strong debugging skills with complex, high-speed systems.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and data analysis; familiarity with C++/Matlab and Git is a plus.
• Hands-on lab experience with high-speed test equipment such as oscilloscopes, BERTs, signal generators, VNAs, and phase-noise analyzers.
