Location: Hybrid in Manchester or London, UK, requiring a minimum of 50% working time per month in the office.

What you will do

• Ensure hirify.global has the appropriate capability to detect and respond to security events and incidents.
• Partner with 3rd party managed service provider to maintain 24x7 operational security coverage.
• Proactively drive efficiency improvements via automation and AI in security operations processes.
• Own and develop hirify.global’s incident response framework and playbooks, including regular training and testing.
• Develop and maintain hirify.global’s threat intelligence capabilities.
• Own the end-to-end vulnerability management process, including penetration testing and remediation tracking.
• Manage and oversee the development of a team of security analysts.

Requirements

• Expert understanding and knowledge of Information Security risk management tools and techniques.
• Extensive experience with Information Security standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO27001, NIST).
• Experience with utilising and monitoring Information Security solutions (e.g., SIEM, Endpoint protection).
• Strong awareness of Cloud services and supporting security solutions & standards.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR/FCA/PRA).
• Experience in an Information Security role gained in a financial services or e-commerce environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Work in a hybrid model, requiring a minimum of 50% office presence in Manchester or London, UK.
