What you will do

• Maintain critical security infrastructure technologies including NIDS/HIDS, IPS, and vulnerability scanning
• Perform routine security log reviews across production, DR, development, and corporate environments
• Conduct policy compliance reviews of critical infrastructure such as account management, patching, and firewall rules
• Collaborate with internal users, clients, and auditors as needed
• Participate in infrastructure design reviews and change management processes
• Assist with maintaining security documentation and perform user training

Requirements

• Must have 3+ years of experience in Information Security
• Formal security certification or working towards one
• Good understanding of security capabilities in Linux, Windows, and AWS Cloud environments
• Experience with network security tools such as firewalls and NIDS
• Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK

Nice to have

• Experience with hybrid cloud security environments
• Previous work in PCI DSS compliant environments
