What you will do

• Collaborate with DevOps, CI/CD engineers, and architecture teams to uphold security best practices.
• Design and implement security processes and controls to meet compliance and audit requirements.
• Leverage security architecture expertise to build and securely operate products and services.
• Conduct proactive research to identify emerging threats and attack vectors.
• Work within an agile product security team and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Location: Remote work from Portugal only
• Proven experience with AWS and AWS security services (IAM, Config, KMS, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, GuardDuty).
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Experience securing Kubernetes workloads on AWS EKS and containerized workloads (Docker).
• Strong understanding of internet and computer networks (TCP/IP, TLS, VPN).
• Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Security – Specialty certification or equivalent.
• Experience with GitOps, CSPM, KSPM, Kubernetes admission control, and supply chain security.
