What you will do

• Initiate and conduct cloud research initiatives to identify trends in cloud infrastructure security, threat actors, and vulnerabilities in cloud-based and cloud-native environments.
• Conduct cutting-edge research in Linux security, covering both low-level and high-level operating system aspects.
• Research threats and vulnerabilities within cloud provider infrastructure and containerized applications.
• Develop advanced cloud security models and frameworks for identifying and mitigating new types of cloud threats, focusing on predictive analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and threat intelligence to drive cloud detections.
• Provide cloud security thought leadership through publications, conference presentations, and technical blogs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of proven expertise in security research, specifically in Cloud infrastructure and Linux environments.
• Experience with cloud-native services, infrastructure, and environments.
• Proficient in Python, Golang, and shell scripting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security features.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and Podman.
• Strong technical knowledge of network, operating systems (mainly Linux), and data platform security.

Nice to have

• Experience in malware analysis and reverse engineering, particularly with Linux malware and ELF reverse engineering.
• Experience in publishing security research papers and conference talks.
