What you will do

• Lead a squad of 4-6 engineers ensuring technical delivery and focus on business goals.
• Design resilient, scalable event-driven and distributed systems for payments.
• Break down complex problems into clear architecture and domain boundaries.
• Embrace DevOps culture with end-to-end ownership of features.
• Coach and mentor engineers for technical and professional growth.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical outcomes.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid role based in London with flexibility for remote work.
• Strong experience in backend technologies such as Python and NodeJS.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies including TypeScript and React.
• Experience with cloud platforms AWS and GCP, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
• Leadership experience managing engineering squads.
• English proficiency at least B2 level.

Nice to have

• Experience with GenerativeAI tools to improve productivity.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, and pytest.
