What you will do

• Participate in designing and building automated tooling for hirify.globalsearch performance benchmarking at scale.
• Maintain the open-source Python-based benchmarking tool, Rally.
• Define best practices, methodologies, and guidelines for performance benchmarking of hirify.globalsearch.
• Address and devise solutions for benchmarking disparate use cases and workloads.
• Develop reporting for and interpreting benchmarking results.

Requirements

• Expert-level knowledge of Python, including awareness of new features.
• Experience in Linux shell scripting.
• Prior experience with CI/CD pipelines and automating process workflows.
• Experience in cloud architectures, service models, and operating across multiple cloud service providers.
• Familiarity with measuring performance and sizing in Linux VM and container environments.
• Ability to multitask, effectively manage time, and collaborate with team members globally across time zones.
• Work authorization for the United States is required.
• Must not be located in or be a national of Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, the Crimea Region of Ukraine, the Donetsk People’s Republic (“DNR”), or the Luhansk People’s Republic (“LNR”).

Nice to have

• Prior experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of performance issues in complex distributed architectures.
• Prior experience with large, distributed search engines and in developing and tuning queries.
• Cloud orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with the hirify.globalsearch Query API and building Kibana dashboards.
