What you will do
- Develop audio playback system frameworks in collaboration with programmers and sound designers.
- Define and apply best practices for technical audio workflows and systems.
- Act as an audio advocate to engineering staff and partner across disciplines.
- Create and implement in-game audio assets, including sound effects and music.
- Optimize and refine current audio pipelines, identify, and troubleshoot audio tools and features.
- Manage Wwise project organization, structures, and gameplay parameter setups.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Audio in the games industry, with at least 3 years in a technical sound designer role.
- 2+ years experience scripting in C# and C++.
- 3+ years experience using a relevant game engine.
- Exceptional Wwise implementation skills.
- Proficient with Perforce and modern audio software editing tools (Pro-Tools, Reaper, Plugins).
