What you will do

• Uncover and mitigate model quality and performance issues in Copilot.
• Oversee data acquisition and generation to meet product needs.
• Generalize ML solutions into repeatable frameworks.
• Lead evaluation efforts of deployed models.
• Review data analysis techniques and identify areas for improvement.
• Track and adapt state-of-the-art research to drive innovation.
• Write efficient, extensible code and model pipelines.
• Define the model quality roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Maintain a customer-oriented focus and serve as a trusted advisor.

Requirements

• Must be based in or near Mountain View, United States with onsite presence required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of technical engineering experience coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
• Preferred: Master’s degree with 6+ years or Bachelor’s with 8+ years experience.
• Experience with large language models and prompt engineering (1+ years).
• Production-quality Python coding experience (1+ years).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
