Senior Release Manager

What you will do

• Coordinate and oversee all efforts related to software releases across the hirify.global product offering
• Plan and manage production changes, defining release schedules and processes
• Implement risk management strategies to minimize release impact
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and other release managers to ensure quality gates and compliance with standards
• Monitor release progress and identify areas for process improvement
• Maintain technical documentation and mentor junior team members

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Hungary for remote work
• Background in computer science, engineering, or related field with proven software development experience
• Strong understanding of release and delivery management best practices including CI/CD
• Experience with tools such as Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI, TeamCity, Octopus, and issue tracking systems like JIRA
• Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to solve complex problems independently and communicate complex ideas clearly
