What you will do

• Design, enhance, and maintain hirify.global’s Google Cloud and CI/CD infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain backend services and utilities in Go.
• Build and evolve platform tooling to improve reliability and internal developer experience.
• Participate in on-call rotation to ensure platform stability.
• Collaborate with product teams to design scalable financial services solutions.
• Advocate for modern infrastructure and development best practices.

Requirements

• 4-6+ years of professional work experience as a software engineer.
• Experience with Go or a comparable structured and opinionated language.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider, preferably Google Cloud.
• Experience using and creating RESTful APIs.
• Must be located and authorized to work in the US or Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with data engineering and data pipelines (Postgres, BigQuery, dbt, Airflow).
• Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (PCI, SOC 2, SOC 1).
• Experience being part of early-stage, fast-moving engineering teams.
